A command of the FARC guerrillas killed today in an ambulance to two Colombian soldiers who had previously been wounded in a minefield by the same organization rebel spokesmen denounced Bogotá military.
Alexander Echeverri Diego Echeverri and Emilio Hernández Gómez were shot in a rural area near Yarumal, a town in northwestern Colombia to which were transferred, reported the News Agency Army (ANE).
military agency warned that the troops "were on completely defenseless, not war material, in accordance with the rules set to use the services of the medical mission."
and Gomez Echeverri had been previously wounded by shrapnel from a landmine set up by the rebel group in the rural area in the same town, belonging to the department of Antioquia.
The front 36 ANE blamed the FARC for the attack on the medical mission.
