A GIRL guerrilla of the FARC is mounted on a helicopter entregarse.El spokesman after the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), Luis Edgar Devia Silva, known as Raul Reyes, remains available to groups of girls as young as nine years old, abducted by his order in slums of cities and towns in order to enslave them to satisfy their sexual desires, according to testimony from dozens of their own children who have escaped from the hands of the guerrillas.

The harrowing testimony was revealed to El Nuevo Herald by military sources, and the Colombian Family Welfare Institute, which serves most of the victims of these abuses and have been documented in their files. All sources asked to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals from the guerrillas.

Sonia, a girl who was kidnapped in Caqueta department for 12 years to be carried Devia service, for example, told military officials and family 16 times that tried to escape. But it was always recaptured and chained to a tree, where it remained available to Devia, a member of the FARC secretariat.

Finally, at age 16, Sonia got away finally and today remains under special protection of a child redemption state.

Other girls who escaped from the FARC or have been captured by authorities, have also provided information on groups of children confined to serve the sexual appetites of Devia or other head of that organization.

According to the testimony of dozens of children who escaped from the FARC or arrested, those who contract AIDS are removed to prevent spreading the disease.

Girls who become pregnant despite the devices and drugs to be used for higher orders, are forced to abort. If the pregnancy progresses, the girls are away to give birth and three months postpartum return to the ranks and babies are given away.

A study by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), on child prisoners fighters, presented at a press conference last Friday in Bogota, at least partially confirm the above statements.

According to international consultancy Natalia Springer, who led the research, found cases of children recruited by the guerrillas under which originally were tied to trees to be carnally assaulted.

The study also revealed that at least 20 percent of the standing force of Colombia's illegal armies, mainly the FARC, are children.

The study also found that no less than 35 percent of adults today guerrillas were brought into the war as children.

In fact, Victor Julio Suarez Rojas, the bloody Mono Jojoy, the FARC's military chief, claims that joined the organization at the age of 12 years and, therefore, based on its own history, justifies the kidnapping of children for prisoners make them combatants.

Since mid-2007, according to Springer, shot in Colombia is the kidnapping of poor children to become cannon fodder in the front line of the FARC.

The main conclusions of the IOM research were presented at a press conference in Bogotá, which also involved the Attorney General, the Attorney General, the Ombudsman and the General Command of the military.

The Attorney General, Edgardo Maya, said in a press conference in 250 municipalities in 18 departments of Colombia guerrilla armies and paramilitary groups continue to recruit children.

The latest estimate on child combatants in Colombia did UNICEF and the Institute of Family Welfare: both institutions indicated that there were between 10 and 13.000.
