FARC killed five sawmills in Riosucio

A faction of the fronts 57 and 5 of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, FARC, attacked the camps of several sawmills on the sidewalk Clavelina, on the banks of the river Truandó in Riosucio, Choco, and murdered at least five workers.
Other sawyers, whose number could rise to twenty according to the locals, were taken hostage by the guerrillas, said the Representative of the Municipality, Dario Blandon.

Riosucio elected Mayor, Jorge Isaac Mosquera, said the rebel incursion happened two days, the same area a year ago the FARC killed fourteen sawmills.

For his part, Secretary of Government of Chocó, Modesto Serna said they knew of guerrilla action information provided by the Representative of Riosucio.
Based on the report of Blandon, Serna confirmed that the insurgents killed at least five woodcutters and kidnapped twenty. The rebels fled into the jungle area.
